On Galei Tzahal radio he founded the band “Tislam” together with Yizhar Ashdot and Danny Bassan — and the rest is history. The band set Israel ablaze with huge hits and sold-out halls, earning many awards and gold and platinum records.
Together with Yizhar Ashdot he is also credited with the phenomenal success of the late Ofra Haza, producing the hits “Galbi” and “Im Nin’alu”, which became worldwide bestsellers and topped the charts across Europe. He created the character “HaAshem Tamid” and earned a gold record with “The Barbecue Song”. With Ashdot he is behind many of Tislam’s hits, including “Radio Hazak”, “Give Me Rock’n’Roll”, “Boker Shel Kef” and “The Country’s Face”, as well as songs written for others. He currently performs in the hit show “Nitzani and Danny”.
