FAQ for Actors
The recommended way to reach us is by email — an informative video from any materials, a short self-presentation clip, current face photos without makeup, and a few words about your training so far. There is no need to send theater acting reels.
It depends on the individual, case by case. What interests us is a combination of a memorable type-cast, personality, charisma and talent. The agency does not train actors — it is not an acting school and charges no fee except commission based on actual work.
Absolutely. The Sha”m union protects actors’ rights in cooperation with us, and a trained actor registered with the agency enjoys fair employment terms and pay.
Thanks to our reputation and connections with senior industry figures, the agency is exposed to the most significant, well-budgeted projects. On average, at least one actor from our agency is cast in every project.
FAQ for Casting Directors & Producers
Yes. Haim Shraga’s agency is highly dynamic. Upon receiving a brief, we think outside the box — precise casting within the agency until a solution is found.
Select the actors as favorites and we will gladly send a self-presentation video / home audition and any additional test.
No. An actor’s fee is set per shooting day, regardless of the number of hours. For a low-budget short/narrative film, it must be recognized as such through the Sha”m union. For a commercial, the budget is based on the duration of paid-promotion usage (half-year/year) and the requested media. The minimum for an actor’s shooting day starts at 2,500–3,000 NIS plus VAT.
