AA Music is a home for musical and stage content, led by music producer, singer and creator — and ACUM Foundation Prize winner — Assaf Averbuch.
Assaf Averbuch is a graduate of the music program at “Kiryat Sharet” high school in Holon and of Walter Johnson High School in Maryland, USA. A graduate of the Armored Corps band — where he served as singer, player, musical arranger and band commander — and a contestant on the third season of “A Star Is Born”. Since 2007 he has been a regular adjudicator for the military bands and an arranger for bands, ceremonies and overseas delegations, including the Education & Youth Corps, Air Force, Navy, and the Northern, Central and Southern Command bands.
Among the notable artists for whom he has written, composed and arranged: Tzvika Pik, Lea Shabat, Arkadi Duchin, Chen Aharoni, Daniela Pick, Shir Levi, Stephane Legar, Hovi Star, Yossi Azulay, Hani Nachmias, Tal Mosseri, Dori Ben Zeev, Amir P. Gutman, Koolulam, Miyumana, and the international a-cappella group The Voca People, for whom he was arranger and musical producer worldwide for about three years.
He has also written and arranged music for TV programs — “The Next Star” (Keshet), “Ahad Ha’am 101”, “Leap to Tomorrow” (Reshet), America’s Got Talent (NBC), “Our Treasure” (Educational TV), “La La Land” (YES), “False Identity” (Channel 10); films — “It’s All Because of the French” (Michal Yanai), “Eisenkot” (Kan 11); commercials — LG, Crocs, Keds, Blundstone, 79, Polyron, Sanyang, We Shoes; and musicals and stage shows including “The Children’s Songs Festival”, “Melting in the Rain”, “Rare Species”, “The Secret of the Vanished Garden” and “Spring Awakening”.
He has musically directed major events such as the 120 Years of Zionism event (Mount Herzl), Eilat Day, the Keren Hayesod honoree awards, the 100 Years of the Hebrew University event, the annual ‘Krembo Wings’ fundraiser, and large events for Strauss, Bank Leumi, Bank Yahav, Clalit, Meuhedet, Coca-Cola, Bank Igud, Intel and more.
